An eclectic mix of the old and the new

Each guestroom is a transformation to an earlier time, when life was simpler and more peaceful. Every guestroom has a view of the surrounding ten acre estate on the Maumee River. All have a mix of new and antique furniture and lamps, artwork on the walls, ceiling fans and radio/alarm clock/CD player. For your total comfort fluffy, white terrycloth robes are provided in each room.

All guestrooms have a private, newly renovated bathroom with pedestal sink, ceramic tile on the floor and walls, extra magnifying mirror, hair dryer and luxuriously thick Egyptian cotton towels.

The Garden Room

This oversized room has its own deck with a wrought iron table and two chairs overlooking the trees and gardens.  It also has an art deco fireplace, king size bed and daybed with quilts, down comforter and designer sheets, Plantation shutters, two antique wardrobes, antique desk and chair, along with two more comfortably upholstered chairs and more.  Its bathroom has a Jacuzzi tub and shower.

The River Room

This spacious room has a view of the river and our landscaped gardens.  The River Room has a king size bed with a wrought iron canopy, Plantation shutters, large closet, antique desk and chair, two comfortably upholstered chairs, down comforter and designer sheets.  Its bathroom has a Jacuzzi tub and shower.

The Polo Room

This king size room has a king size bed with a large, elegant headboard furnished with Ralph Lauren Polo linens, an antique wardrobe, roll top writing desk and chair, and more.  It has a large bathroom with Jacuzzi tub and a separate walk-in shower.

The Highland Room

This intimate room has a view of trees and the alpaca ranch next door.  It has an authentic antique brass bed, designer linens, an antique wood rocking chair with black leather padded seat, an antique chest of drawers, walk-in closet and more.  Its bathroom has a combination tub and shower.

breakfast in our sunny
dining room.

For your seasonal comfort, we have central air conditioning throughout the house. The ground-level story has beautiful hardwood floors with carved moldings along the ceiling and floors. Area rugs accentuate the antique furniture and lamps. There's a large-screen TV in the Family Room, along with a DVD player, VCR and selection of board games.

French doors with the original leaded glass provide your entry to the sunny dining room where a full gourmet breakfast is served every morning, with homemade delectables plated on fine china and crystal.
